What not to do!
after reading of Karens recent mishap I thought it might be a good idea to compile a list of things not to do when reborning so others can learns from our mistakes.
So if you have made a boo boo on a baby feel free to pop in here and add it to the list

RE: What not to do!
Don't heat the head of a baby after the hair is on.

Don't heat the head after you have varnished the lips and eyes as the varnish often gets little bubbles in it from the heat.

RE: What not to do!
Don't heat any part of the face after eyelashes are on

Don't EVER, EVER bake your baby with the skewers or toothpicks in the nostrils

RE: What not to do!
I have baked a babies head after the hair was in BUT used colesterol on the hair which is activated to condition when heated, this is something I use on my own hair too. I color my hair and it keeps it soft.
Don't put the head on the body until all glue is dry as the moisture may keep the lip magnets from drying completely and then it may move.

RE: What not to do!
Don't stuff the babies head until after it is completely dry, as it may mold inside the head. Be careful not to let the baby fall over in the oven, as it will burn marks on the sculpt! Don't put paper glaze on glass eyes... it won't adhere to the glass. You can take them out and wash the paper glaze off of glass and re-do. (Found out the hard way!) If you re-sell, take the baby apart and look at the stuffing. I was shipping a re-sell overseas and the baby had gravel in it! (It was a well known artist, too) She had stuffed the fiberfill in the head while wet and it was glued to the head. I was so glad I had taken it apart first.
